Emergency Response Service
The Emergency Response Service is available to Carers any time, day or night, 7 days a week,
365 days a year and is free of charge for residents of Wokingham & Reading Borough Councils.
We will arrange for an assessment to be completed, including contingency plans concerning the support of your dependant.

It is there to call on if you find yourself in a position where you are unable to be there for your dependant
due to illness or family emergency.
Now there is no need to worry, once registered, you will be able to contact the emergency number and request assistance.
We will use your information to organise support and/or arrange for one of our Emergency Support Staff to give cover until
the situation is resolved.
